COLD CUTS CELEBRATE 30th YEAR
Cold Cuts is an eclectic, powerful and articulate music collaboration of Jonni Wadd (birth name Kevin Dougherty - vocal pyrotechnics, lyrics, moans, groans & squeals) and Dee Vice (birth name Allan Chapman - guitar, scratches, clicks, backing cackles).
Beginning with a simple acoustic guitar and vocal arrangement recorded on an old boombox in 1984, Cold Cuts' philosophy is simple: take bizarre and articulate lyrics, combine them with unique and inventive guitar riffs, add memorable choruses, rehearse them once, commit them to tape and move onto the next song. This process has yielded over 200 session's worth of recordings (mostly full band multi-tracked), 3 full length videos, 1 1/2 live performances and countless fun times.
Cold Cuts is entering it's 30th year of creating music. To celebrate, they are releasing one maxi-single (3 songs + original Jonni Wadd artwork) per month from February 16, 2013 to February 16, 2014. The singles will be available via download HERE.
NEW NYC GIGS - MTA Arts For Transit (MUNY)
This past summer, I was one of 25 granted a permit to play music in the NYC Subway System sponsored by the MTA's Music Under New York Program. Thank you MUNY! I'm thrilled to be embarking on this interesting journey.
